The Amazing Parade: Paris 4/20/2024

This short film documents the struggle to orchestrate a parade of camels on the streets of Paris, April 20, 2024, to celebrate the UN-declared International Years of Camelids. The effort was led by the mayor of Janvry, France, Christian Schoettl, who is also a camel owner. The piece includes interview footage with Christian Schoettl, footage of the camels and owners coming together for planning in the nearby village of Janvry, as well as parade footage from the event in Paris.
